ECU vs UNC Football Tailgate in Greenville
This weekend was the ECU vs UNC football game and as usual the tailgate was a blast. Check out this highlight video:

ECU vs Virginia Tech in Greenville
Saturday was ECU’s home opener against Virginia Tech. It was also our opening home tailgate and we even welcomed a number of VT fans to join us. Our team didn’t get the result on the field we wanted, but we had a fun time anyway.

ECU vs South Carolina Charlotte Weekend
Labor Day weekend was the opening game of the 2011 college football season and East Carolina took on South Carolina in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte North Carolina.

The weekend began with drinks out at Epicenter with ECU and Richmond friends. Saturday we tailgated, went to the game and then went out after the game. Didn’t get the game result that we wanted, but it was still a ton of fun. Thanks Tom and Laura Ashley for hosting us and showing us around Charlotte!

ECU Football Thanksgiving Weekend
The final ECU home football game of the year against SMU started out a little rain and ended with an ECU loss. We managed a 6-6 finish and have been invited to a bowl game. It’s been a fun season and I can’t wait until next year.
Pirates!
ECU vs. Navy game this weekend was also an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest gathering of costumed pirates. We were short by only 5,353 pirates. At least it was fun trying! The game on the other hand was probably best left forgotten.

ECU vs. Marshall Weekend
Another great weekend in Greenville has passed. ECU defeated Marshall at home. Our tailgate was a blast as usual.
ECU at Virginia Tech Football Game
ECU didn’t win the game, but a bunch of friends and I had a great time in Blacksburg this weekend to see ECU take on Virginia Tech. Highlights included tailgating before and after the game, Bear Pong, Hooptie Ride, and a night out in Blacksburg. Photos from the weekend can be found here.
I also took a couple of cool panoramic photos of Lane Stadium from our seats in the visitor section 37.
ECU to Host Conference USA Championship Game
ECU beat Southern Miss this weekend and won the opportunity to host the Conference USA Championship game on December 5. It was another fantastic game in Greenville and the Pirates put on quite a show. With the conference championship on Saturday at ECU, that makes 3 trips in 3 weekends to Greenville.
